Work In Progress

Yeah, Yeah... I know... you shouldn't move stuff in 'til you have it finished, unfortunately we are forcing it to free up the bedroom I had taken over in the house. So far all I have in there can be pulled away from the wall for insulating... can't do that unit fall anyway to let the green lumber dry out a bit... it is Amish built after all.
-Electrical....   check.
-Telephone...  check.
-Internet...     check
-Music...     of course.
-Tools...    most of them.
I insulated the roof all ready... more from necessity than anything... gets really warm in there in the full sun without it.;P
So far... I'm liking it!  Hey, it's a tax write-off if nothing else.

It has been a battle getting this far so quickly... 60 hour weeks behind the wheel of the bus limits available move time. It is a busy time of year for transportation.

New Shop

My new shop is paid in full and on its way $975.00. I purchased an 8 x 12 building from the local Amish which will be delivered the 20th of April. Have been busy getting electrical and data runs ready to send through conduit once it is sitting in place. I will finally be able to move all my computer work out of the spare bedroom upstairs and out of the wood shed. Insulation and peg board are the next step once the electrical is in place. I will update with the progress as I can.

Opinion: Antitrust complaint against Android is an attack on open source

Microsoft and Oracle say it's "predatory" for companies to give away software.

oh, boy... I just had to repost this in some form... this kind of S**T really yanks my chain.

Wah... a little free software is going to hurt the poor Microsoft Giant. They should have known that all those years of strict control with proprietary (DO THINGS OUR WAY OR NO WAY!) would sour their reputation and force people to rebel against that nature... live and learn MS... now you have to reap what you have sewn.

HEY, Fairsearch... If allowing someone a choice is predatory... what to hell is keeping someone strapped to only one way of doing things! As the Proprietary nature of MS does... THAT is Predatory!

AND ORACLE!!!... you can now be labelled hypocrites trying to play both sides of the fence.

Not Funny!

I just wish that the weather here would make up its mind... low 30's at night say you need a fire burning... upper 50's during the day dictate that you don't. It was a cruel joke coming home from Florida to this! >:P

Vacation Over

It was a long drive (about 1360 miles each way) however, the trip home seemed to last much longer.  It was worth it in the long run, my six year old daughter had a blast and has some memories that will last her lifetime (along with a better knowledge of how far away Disney is and how long it takes to drive places). It was calm in the morning...
... but you couldn't have packed another body in by the evening parade and light show.

I have to go back to work now to rest up!  lol.
